Research on Bearing Capacity of One-way Bolted Endplate Connection Nodes Between Square Steel Tube Column and H-beam Based on Three-parameters Model
One-way bolts can effectively solve the problems of construction inconvenience caused by using ordinary bolts in closed sections and brittle fracture of welded connections. In order to explore the bearing capacity and influencing factors of the one-way bolt end plate connection node between square steel tube column and H-beam,static loading tests were carried out on the beam-column flush end plate connec-tion node and the beam-column extended end plate connection node. The test calibrated the finite element model and found that the two sets of data had a high degree of consistency. For this,a finite element model was established by changing the cross-sectional parameters of the square steel tube column,H-beam and end plate and the diameter of the one-way bolt to analyze the bearing capacity. The research results show that the beam height, column wall thickness and bolt diameter have a great influence on the initial stiffness and ulti-mate bending moment of the beam-column flush end plate connection node and the beam-column extended end plate connection node. In addition, the initial stiffness and ultimate bending moment of the beam-co-lumn extended end plate connection node are also affected by the width and thickness of the end plate. Fi-nally,the approximate formulas of the initial stiffness, ultimate bending moment and shape coefficient were fitted based on the three-parameter model, which provides a reference for the application of such nodes in engineering.
