Study on the Effect of Hot-stewed Steel Slag on the Properties of Cementitious Materials
Steel slag has certain gelling properties and can be used as concrete admixture, but the treat-ment process has an important effect on it.At present, most of the research is aimed at the non-hot-steaming process steel slag, and there are fewer studies on hot-steaming steel slag.Based on the test method of ce-mentitious sand, the basic mechanical properties of cementitious sand after partially replacing cement by hot-steaming steel slag were comparatively studied under standard curing and pressure-steaming conditions, and microanalysis was carried out by XRD,FESEM and EDS.The results show that, under the standard condi-tion,the hot-steamed steel slag can hydrate to generate C3AH6 and C-S-H,and the activity index reaches 76%at 28 d.Under the pressure steaming condition,Tobermorite and Xonotlite minerals are generated, and the activity index is as high as 92%,and with the increase in the dosage of steel slag(the total amount of steel slag is ≤70%),the flexural strength of the mastic sand has a tendency to increase and the compressive strength has a tendency to decrease, and the compressive strength shows a decreasing trend and is signifi-cantly lower at 70%.
