Dance art in Wanjiang Area during Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern dynasties
The Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties period was the most turbulent period in the development of Chinese history, and the frequent alternation of political power also made its culture reflect diverse characteristics. The Jiangnan region, including the Anhui River region(mainly referring to the Yangtze River basin along the Anhui section of the Yangtze River),entered the period of relatively stable political power during the Six Dynasties.Under the influence of the gentry who migrated south to the north, the economy and culture developed to a certain extent, and even formed a"Six Dynasties Luxury"situation. The Bai Xi,Qing Shang music and dance, which were originally circulated in the Central Plains, were introduced to Jiangnan and merged with the local music and dance in Jiangnan, resulting in new forms of music and dance.Exploring the music and dance culture in the Anhui River region during this period through methods such as literature review, critical thinking, and historical research is helpful for understanding the Jiangnan music and dance culture during the Six Dynasties period and is also a beneficial supplement to the study of Chinesedance history.
