Based on the theory of digital empowerment and absorptive capacity,this paper explores the mechanism of the impact of dig-ital transformation on innovation performance in high-tech enterprises.Based on a questionnaire of 89 high-tech enterprises in Jiangsu,this study empirically tests the relationship among digital transformation,absorptive capacity and innovation per-formance of enterprises.The research results indicate that both digital transformation and absorptive capacity have a signifi-cant positive effect on the innovation performance of high-tech enterprises;and the absorptive capacity plays a mediating role in the impact of digital transformation on innovation performance.Therefore,countermeasures have been proposed such as promoting digital transformation strategy,building a comprehensive knowledge management system,and establishing an effi-cient transformation mechanism.
