This paper elucidates the definition of new media context and its impact on the field of modern art,and analyzes the connota-tions of animation art and graphic design,including the inherent characteristics of animation art and the principles and tech-niques of graphic design.It demonstrates the feasibility of their deep integration from the perspectives of technical level,aes-thetic principle and the characteristics of new media.Based on the above,practical strategies are proposed,such as deepe-ning integration driven by technological innovation and balancing creativity and expression.
