This paper studies the relationship between the digitization of archives and the protection and inheritance of national memory from the perspective of digital humanities.It aims to explore the role and influence of archival digitization in the National Memory Project,as well as their mutual promotion and support relationship.After briefly describing the relationship and interaction between digital humanities and archival data,this paper first reviews the existing definitions of archival digitization and then proposes a new one.It discusses the characteristics,advantages and significance of archival digitization,then the definition,importance,goal and content of the National Memory Project to explore its connotation.Through the analysis and comparison of the relationship,it reveals that archival digitization plays a vital role in promoting and protecting the National Memory Project.Finally,it is proposed that the research and application of archival digitization technology should be strengthened in the future,the digitization level of archival resources should be improved,and the construction of the National Memory Project should be continued to improve,so as to promote the deeper integration of archival digitization and the National Memory Project.
