In this study,an analysis was conducted on the storage,protection,organization,and utilization of traditional Chinese medicine ancient book resources in various libraries,cultural and museum units,and other institutions in Henan Province.The research aimed to identify the challenges in the development and organization of these valuable resources in the region.The findings highlighted the need to enhance leadership and coordination in the protection and utilization of traditional Chinese medicine ancient books.It was recommended to conduct a thorough exploration and organization of these resources,identify key objects for protection,and implement measures for multi-level protection of traditional Chinese medicine ancient books.To promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine in Henan Province,the study suggested increasing the training of professionals in the field of traditional Chinese medicine ancient book protection.Additionally,efforts should be made to uncover and promote the artistic and cultural value of these ancient books.
