Chinese-style modernization is a unique path of modernization that is tailored to China's specific national conditions.It represents the new exploration and achievements of the Communist Party of China(CPC)in governing the country.As part of this modernization process,it is crucial to accelerate the development of an autonomous knowledge system in archival science that is rooted in Chinese characteristics.This not only helps in assessing the progress of archival studies in China over the past few decades but also provides a unique perspective on Chinese-style modernization.Archivists have a key role to play in this process.They must take the lead in consolidating,enriching,and advancing the independent knowledge system of archival science with Chinese characteristics.By grounding their work in the historical context of China and aligning it with the current times,archivists can enhance the contribution of archival science to the broader goal of Chinese-style modernization.
