Based on the statistical data in the period of 1992-2022,using cointegration analysis and error correction model,the paper studies the quantitative relationship between the utilization ratio of open Archives in china and it's effect factors. The results show:(1) In the long run,there is an equilibrium quantitative relationship between the utilization ratio of open Archives and the level and speed of economic development,industrial structure optimization,average schooling years,the level and speed of scientific and technical advancement,urbanization level,the Archives opening ratio. (2) The effect of the promulgation and implementation of the'regulations' on the utilization ratio of open Archives is significant. (3) In the short term,the effect of scientific and technical advancement level and the Archives opening ratio on the utilization ratio of open Archives is significant. The effect of the other factors is insignificant. Finally,the several countermeasures and suggestions on how to improve the utilization ratio of open Archivesare proposed.
