Emergency Archives are important original records and narrative materials,which were formed in the process of dealing with emergencies. The new Archives Law requires improving the Archives utilization mechanism of emergency response activities and strengthening the ability of archival services to provide literature reference and decision support for emergency response activities. Based on the network and telephone survey of nearly 60 Archives,it is found that there are many problems in the current compilation and research activities,which need to be optimized and improved in order to give full play to its important function of constructing social memory and promoting the modernization of national governance system.
