In the 1970s,some archival institutions established by universities,communities,and businesses in the United States began to pay attention to public Archives,forming a'public centered' archival concept. Therefore,from the perspective of American public history,archival work has characteristics such as open access and transparent management,diverse inclusiveness and national participation,expanded scope and collaborative cooperation,innovative presentation and diverse experiences,international cooperation and win-win cooperation. Moreover,it has important practical significance for China to create historical Archives that belong to the public,continuously showcase new aspects of public archive research,predict new trends in archive work,and consolidate the relationship between archival studies and history.
