This article explores the innovative application of archives in community cultural governance,particularly in addressing the key role of urban community diversity and complexity in China's rapid urbanization process.By reviewing the theoretical foundations of cultural governance,social capital,multiculturalism,knowledge management,participatory governance,and information disclosure and privacy protection,combined with practical cases,this paper analyzes how archives play a role in promoting community cultural inheritance,promoting multicultural integration,enhancing governance transparency,and increasing resident participation.Among them,the challenges of archive resources in cultural governance were discussed,including privacy protection,difficulty in accessing archives,and innovative solutions for technological empowerment and participatory governance were proposed.Through the analysis of typical applications of archive management in multiple scenarios,this article provides new ideas and future development directions for the future exploration of archive management in the cultural governance of community districts.
