New Thinking on the Concept of Archives under the Community Paradigm
The article gives a new thought to the concept of archive from the perspective of the community paradigm,analyzes the limitations of the previous understanding of the concept of archive under the new par-adigm,explains the reasons for the new thinking about the concept of archive at the time of the arrival of the community paradigm,and expounds the concept of archive in terms of definition and connotation.As a carri-er of memory,archives have become richer in types and carriers,and tend to be more popularized.Under the community paradigm,archives weaken class limitations and pay attention to the memory of the general public;strengthen collective memory and create identity;supplement mainstream narratives and improve so-cial memory.The reinterpreted concept of archives can help to comply with the community paradigm and contribute to the development of the cause;expand the scope of archives to retain a wider range of memo-ries;and dilute the definition of the nature of the archives to facilitate the public's understanding.
