The Dual Attribute of Humanities and Social Sciences of Archives Science and the Discipline Construction of Archives Science
Archives science is a highly comprehensive social science. In archives science, some research objects and their corresponding archives science concepts, archives science theories and archives science curriculum objectives all show obvious dual attribute of humanities and social sciences, which includes both social science and humanities attributes; And without humanities attributes, social science attributes cannot be established alone. At present,in the study of these objects, the attribute of humanities has not been paid enough attention, which leads to some problems in the discipline construction.Understanding this dual attribute is of great significance for understanding the trend of some archival researches returning to the direction of humanities, for deepening the cognition of the humanities attribute of archival science, and for promoting the discipline construction of archival science, such as accurately understanding and defining the concept of archival science, developing the theories of archival science, and positioning the curriculum objectives of archival science.
