The development of digital technology has derived digital identities that are both technical and social,and have led identity cognition to two significantly different aspects.On the basis of clarifying the connotation of the concept of digital identity,this paper explores the internal relationship between archives and digital identity and the identity dilemma,and finds the mechanism of archives to strengthen individual digital identity,including:archival management can be associated with real individuals,archives can reshape real social relations,archives can carry self-emotional projection,and archives can meet the needs of individual identity.
