In the new era,the archival departments are transforming to the direction of data and intelligence,and integrating into the new pattern of intelligent governance of the society.By analyzing the development status of smart governance and the interaction between archival departments and government governance,this paper summarizes four dimensions of archival departments'participation in smart governance,namely,laying resource foundation,guiding data application,integrating governance ecology,and improving service efficiency.Finally,it puts forward the promotion path of the archival departments'participation in smart governance from four aspects:archival data construction,archival undertaking integration,collaborative governance mechanism and data service capability.
