Review of the Development of Geographic Information Technology in China
In recent years, China's geographic information technology has achieved remarkable progress. With the implementation of the National Earth Observation System project and the National Space Infrastructure project, satellite remote sensing technology in Chi-na has ushered in a period of rapid growth. In terms of navigation and positioning, with the comprehensive implementation of China's modern surveying and mapping benchmark system, China has practically achieved the ability of land and territory high accuracy, three-dimensional (including 3D real scene) and dynamic (including real-time update) full coverage. China's technical level of geo-graphic information system has reached the critical technology independent and controllable and has a certain international competitive-ness. China attaches great importance to the theory, practice and application of service-oriented geographic information technology, and the related technologies in this field have been developing rapidly.
