Automatic Generalization Rule and Visualization Design of the Third National Land Survey Data:Taking The Atlas of the Third National Land Survey in Guangdong Province as an Example
Transforming the data into effective maps is one of the important ways to strengthen the application of the third national land survey. Taking The Atlas of The Third National Land Survey in Guangdong Province as an example, this paper studies the key technol-ogies of automatic generalization based on WJ-Ⅲ Map Workstation, and the visualization design of the third national land survey data. Firstly, it analyzes regional characteristics and data, and then introduces the key technologies and summarizes the result of automatic generalization and mapping. Finally, the automatic generalization of the third national land survey data with 1∶100000, 1∶250000, 1∶500000 and 1∶1000000 series scales are realized and the atlas has been compiled. The research results can provide reference for multi-scale thematic map generalization with The Third National Land Survey Data.
