Application of VBA Technology in the Databasing of General Census of Survey Marks
Survey mark census data usually exist in paper form or electronic form. Survey mark database is mainly SHP data. Databas-ing is mainly manually entered, which has very low efficiency and high error rate. In order to improve the databasing efficiency and ac-curacy of survey mark census data, a series of function development is carried out based on VBA, which realizes the rapid extraction and summary of survey mark basic information and census information in Excel spreadsheet, as well as the rapid extraction of pictures such as point location sketch. Then, ArcGIS is used to convert Excel table coordinate file to SHP data, which greatly improves the op-eration efficiency and accuracy of survey mark census databasing.
