Study on Coal Mine Collapse Areas Based on Topographic Map Data
Ground collapse is a common geological disaster in underground coal mine goaf. The ground collapse caused by mining often forms depressions, troughs or negative terrains, accompanied by irregular cracking and topographic fluctuation, which causes great harm to human production activities. Taking a mining area in Shaanxi as an example, according to its high-accuracy topographic map data in 2011 and 2021, this paper extracts its elevation point and contour data, generates high-accuracy DEM data under ArcGIS plat-form, compares the two phases of DEM data, analyzes the collapse area, and verifies it with its mining plan engineering map, so as to provide strong support for more reasonable planning of human production and living activities and prevention and control of natural dis-asters.
