Water Area Change Monitoring Based on Remote Sensing Data Water Index
Using Landsat TM/OLI satellite images as data source, water index extraction method was used to extract water area infor-mation of Tanghe reservoir, Liaoning province, and analyze the change of water area and driving factors. The results show that the wa-ter area of Tanghe reservoir presents a trend of "first increase, then decrease and then increase" in the past 20 years, and the south-ernmost area of Tanghe reservoir has the most prominent change. Among meteorological factors, temperature is the dominant factor af-fecting reservoir area change.
