Rapid Production of Topographic Maps Based on SuperMap iDesktop Spatial Database
Based on the domestic SuperMap iDesktop 10 software platform, this paper proposes a technical route to realize the rapid production of topographic maps through scheme customization and collaborative editing. Taking the production of 1:25000 scale topo-graphic maps using 1:10000 scale topographic map data with all features as an example, the key links to realize the rapid production of maps are described. Based on the existing multi-source geographic information data and mapping scheme, this technical route can quickly provide qualified topographic maps which can be compliance with the publishing standards, and flexibly produce customized results meeting the requirements, so as to shorten the mapping cycle, achieve rapid security applications, and make a beneficial explo-ration of the rapid and accurate guarantee model under the new surveying and mapping system.
