This paper uses the Modis temperature product data set, and applies ENVI and ArcGIS software to analyze the distribution of water and heat patterns in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau by calculating the climate continentality index (temperature method) in the Qing-hai-Tibet Plateau. The results show that the climate continental distribution in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau presents an obvious regional distribution, and the continental climate gradually deepens from the southeast to the northwest; The southern region dominated by the Himalayas and the Brahmaputra presents an obvious oceanic climate, which will expand to the north and east; The continental climate in the region centered on the Tarim Basin is very obvious and will be more serious in the future. Through the study of the climate conti-nentality of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the change of the continental climate in the Qinghai-Tibet region can be obtained, which can help to deeply understand the change process, degree, trend and possible consequences of the environment of the Qinghai-Tibet Plat-eau, as well as the possible impact on other regions, while promoting the research process of global climate change.
