According to the requirement of verification regulation, "one horizontal standard deviation" is not only a required item, but also an important index to judge whether the total station is qualified or not. This paper combines the practice of the author's work unit and uses the multi-objective parallel light tube method to verify one horizontal standard deviation of total station. It analyzes the sources of uncertainty affecting the measured value, and evaluates the uncertainty of one horizontal standard deviation for total station of grade Ⅰ, grade Ⅱ and grade Ⅲ.
