The base map making of the urban-rural integration survey is the basic work of the third national land survey and detailed investigation of urban and rural areas in Shaanxi province. This paper mainly introduces the technical process and key technologies for the production of integrated urban and rural image base maps in Shaanxi province. Firstly, it introduces the composition of the data contained in the urban-rural integration base map, and then uses the coordinate conversion software issued by the state to unify all spatial references of the data. ArcGIS software is used to extract the urban and rural parts from high-resolution images and embed them into the images issued by the state. Relevant vector data is used to form the urban-rural integration survey base map. This paper takes a certain county as an example to verify the accuracy and quality of its urban-rural integration survey base map results.
