In order to improve the application of geographic information system(GIS)technology in agricultural resource management,information construction and data sharing,we rely on the demarcation project of grain production functional area and important agricul-tural product production protection area.Meanwhile,an agricultural resource management database is established,so as to serve the improvement of optimal allocation of resources and rational utilization of agricultural resources.Moreover,this paper analyzes the role of GIS in each production process and it solves the problems by taking the project process as example,while it summarizes the prob-lems and puts forward solutions.This paper also prospects the application of GIS in administrative approval and data sharing,provi-ding reference for agricultural resource management and information construction.
