Analysis of Spatial-Temporal Characteristics of Drought in Henan Province Based on TVDI and SPCI
By analyzing the correlation between temperature vegetation dryness index(TVDI)and standardized precipitation conversion index(SPCI),and combining them to study the spatial-temporal distribution of drought characteristics in Henan province from 2015 to 2020.The results show that the double parabolic TVDI based on Pearson correlation coefficient calculated the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and the Land Surface Temperature(LST)showed a significant negative correlation with SPCI based on the Precipitable Water Vapor(PWV),with the overall correlation coefficient greater than 0.5,and had similar effects in spatial-temporal drought monitoring. The spatial-temporal characteristics of drought in Henan province were analyzed jointly with TVDI and SPCI for the first time,it was found that most areas of Henan province were normal, and a few were wet or dry,and the arid area was mainly distributed in central Henan. These results provide data support for drought monitoring in Henan province and are of great significance in drought prevention.
