Study on Suitability Evaluation and Layout Optimization of Agricultural Production in Northwest Arid Zone:A Case Study in Wuwei City
Agricultural production suitability evaluation is the premise of agricultural space optimization and adjustment in territorial space planning in the new era,and the necessary basis for scientific demarcation of agricultural space and permanent basic farmland,which is of great significance to ensure national food security and ecological security.This paper takes Wuwei city as a typical arid are-a in northwest China,and uses GIS software to evaluate and analyze the essential factors of agricultural production,such as land re-sources,water resources and climate conditions,by using GIS software,and integrates the models to form the evaluation results.Based on the analysis of the evaluation results of agricultural production suitability,this paper puts forward the optimization ideas and specific measures of agricultural production layout in Wuwei city,and discusses the supporting role of agricultural production suitabili-ty for territorial space planning.
