Map Generalization Fault Tolerance Correction Algorithm Based on GDAL
Map spot merging, subdivision and fault tolerance correction are the map generalization key technologies in the data process-ing of national geographic conditions monitoring, which can ensure the standardization and accuracy assessment of geospatial data. Therefore, based on the principles of topology and geographic information system, as well as the raster spatial data conversion library (GDAL), a topology compatibility inspection method is designed. The algorithm of adjacent map spot merging and tolerance node rec-ognition and elimination is constructed, and the map generalization intelligent fault tolerance correction of national geographic condi-tions monitoring data is realized, which improves the data processing efficiency and the quality of data processing. Secondly, Python+GDAL is used in the simulation experiment, which shows that the method can realize the compatibility inspection of geospatial monito-ring data and the merging of map spots, which provides certain application value for geographic information data processing.
