Research and Practice of Key Technologies for Electronic Map Applications Based on OpenLayers
This article delves into the key technologies of developing electronic map applications based on OpenLayers, and presents a detailed analysis using the Wanggang Town Grid Management Information Platform as a case study. OpenLayers, as a powerful open-source Web mapping framework, provides developers with a rich set of functions for map display and control. Through research and practice in areas such as map loading and layer management, interactive function implementation, and performance optimization, effi-cient and user-friendly electronic map applications can be developed. In the Grid Management Information Platform, OpenLayers' lay-er overlay and interactive functions are utilized to achieve personalized map displays and convenient interactive operations, thereby en-hancing the efficiency and accuracy of the grid management. Additionally, optimization measures such as data volume control, caching technology, and multithreading processing have been implemented to boost the application's performance. The successful application of this platform provides valuable reference and insights for electronic map development in other fields.
