An Inspection and Verification Method of the Horizontal Mathematical Basis of Maps
In order to solve the problem of common errors in the application of the horizontal mathematical basis of maps,this paper proposes a method for inspecting and verifying the horizontal mathematical basis of maps.On the basis of residual statistics of dominant marker points,the threshold value of abnormal residuals is set,residual analysis is conducted on non-dominant marker points,and mathematical basis application analysis is conducted in combination with the types and distribution characteristics of non-dominant marker points.Experiments show that this method is reliable for inspecting and verifying the errors of coordinate system misuse,map projection,map scale setting,ellipsoid and projection parameter setting.This method can be used as a general method in the stages of self inspection,mutual inspection,special inspection and map review.
