Production Practice of High-accuracy DEM in Terrain Complex Areas Based on Airborne LiDAR Data
Traditional topographic mapping requires manual field sampling points, which has some problems such as long time, high cost and environmental danger, and the data obtained is not intuitive enough.Especially in the terrain complex areas, due to difficult working conditions and inaccessible parts of the area,it is difficult to ensure the completion of the project on schedule. The airborne LiDAR technology can easily obtain the spatial coordinates and elevation information of the dense sampling points in the survey area, which opens up a new way to obtain DEM data with large area, high efficiency and high accuracy. In this paper, airborne LiDAR technology is used to obtain high density airborne laser point cloud data, and TerraSolid software is used to design the classification method and process of point cloud, complete the construction of high-accuracy DEM and accuracy analysis and verify the feasibility of using airborne LiDAR data to make high-accuracy DEM in terrain complex areas.
