Study on Coastline Extraction from TH-2 Satellite Bistatic SAR Data
The length and location of coastlines are important basic data for national ocean management. It has important development and utilization value. In this paper, the research on automatic coastline extraction technology is carried out using the bistatic SAR ima-ges of the TH-2 satellite. Aiming at the problem that speckle noise in the single SAR intensity image hinders the judgment of the wa-ter edge,a robust SAR image filtering method is proposed. In addition, the master and slave intensity images and the interferogram data features of the water area are combined to identify the coastline, which solves the problem of inaccurate and unstable information relying on a single determinant information. The results were optimized using the region-growing method and mathematical morphology method, and the final coastline extraction results were obtained. Experiments are carried out using multiple TH-2 data, and the re-sults show that the method in this paper can improve the practical application effect of coastline extraction using bistatic SAR data.
