Analysis on the Update and Maintenance Technology of High-accuracy Map Data
The development of high-accuracy maps is closely related to smart transportation and intelligent internet-connected vehi-cles. Since the beginning of intelligent internet-connected vehicles,the high-accuracy map industry has been born and developed rapidly. Compared with the previous navigation maps,high-accuracy maps are the common basic technology of intelligent internet-connected vehicle transportation,and its service targets are not only human drivers,but human drivers and autonomous vehicles. For L3 and above autonomous vehicles,HD maps are a mandatory option. So how to update and maintain map data is particularly impor-tant. This article introduces how to update and repair urban road data in the production of high-accuracy maps to keep up-to-date-ness.
