Design and Development of Remote Sensing Image Management Platform Based on MongoDB GridFS
Aiming at the problems of multi-source,multi-temporal and multi-resolution remote sensing images,such as single data storage method,relatively backward management and application means,this paper designs a massive remote sensing image manage-ment and publishing service platform based on MongoDB GridFS. The platform uses GDAL for data processing and automated hybrid slicing of remote sensing images,MongoDB to store image slice data and image metadata,Mongo GridFS to store original imagery,and HTTP file servers to host COG (Cloud optimized GeoTIFF). The platform takes the original image-metadata-tile-COG as the organi-zation structure of the data base of the remote sensing image management and publishing service platform,which realizes services such as the online query,preview,data storage,and distribution of remote sensing images. The platform provides strong support for the ap-plication of remote sensing images in the fields of natural resource monitoring,ecological environment protection,and land spatial planning.
