1∶1000 Topographic Map Production Based on Airborne Laser Scanning Technology
The emergence of airborne laser scanning technology has provided a more convenient data source for the production of large-scale topographic maps, this paper conducts an experiment in a real survey area and comprehensively introduces the entire processes of producing 1∶1000 topographic maps based on airborne laser scanning technology, including point cloud data acquisition, vector ex-traction and editing, etc. The production of 1∶1000 topographic maps for the entire survey area is completed. Finally,a total station is used to collect checkpoints to verify the accuracy of the large-scale topographic maps produced by this method, thus verifying the feasibility of using airborne laser scanning technology for the production of large-scale topographic maps.
