Research on Coordinate Transformation Methods for 3DS Max 3D Models
Aiming at the problem that the traditional coordinate transformation methods of 3D models cannot be directly applied to 3DS Max project files in the realistic 3D city construction,a coordinate transformation method of 3D models oriented to 3DS Max is pro-posed. The coordinate transformation of 3DS Max 3D models is realized by means of communication between 3DS Max plug-in and co-ordinate transformation software,which effectively retains the model and scene information of 3DS Max files,improves the production efficiency of 3D model data,and satisfies the application of 3DS Max models in different display platforms and different coordinate sys-tems. An example shows that this method can meet the requirements of 3D model coordinate transformation in realistic 3D city con-struction and provide a reference for the coordinate transformation in 3D model data production.
