Exploration and Practice of Intelligent Mapping System Based on Multi-scale Map Database
This paper analyzes the current situation of multi-scale map database construction,map production technology and public welfare map service,proposes an intelligent mapping system with new map generalization means and new mapping model to greatly im-prove the existing map production technology,and constructs the first large-scale automatic generalization rule database and mapping knowledge base of core geographic information elements in Fujian. The research results have changed the current multi-scale map da-tabase construction mode and map production technology,significantly improved the public welfare map service efficiency,and have great reference significance for the automatic generalization of other geographic information databases.
