Research on Key Techniques of Rapid Production of Village Image Maps Based on ArcGIS
In the face of tens of thousands of administrative villages in Fujian province,the efficiency of map production is low through traditional mapping methods,which cannot meet the realistic demand of "one village and one map" by government departments at all levels. Based on ArcGIS data-driven module,combined with ModelBuilder module and ArcPy programming,this paper studies the batch processing of cartographic data,map symbol expression and intelligent batch configuration of annotations and uses cartographic data to quickly batch produce scientific,practical and beautiful village-level image maps,laying a technical foundation for the "one village and one map" production in the province and further expanding surveying and mapping geographic information service support capabilities.
