Application of Airborne LiDAR in Algae and Sand Separation and Monitoring
This paper studies how to realize the separation detection of offshore vegetation and sand with UAV airborne LiDAR,and takes XW-East-JH20 sea sand mining area mapping project in Zhanjiang city,Guangdong province as an example. In order to distin-guish echo conditions of different substances in different laser bands and the measured results, this paper selected four bands for sepa-ration testing, and finally identified the two bands with the highest differentiation for correlation analysis. The mapping bands with the highest differentiation for LiDAR monitoring of fine sand, sand and algae are obtained for measurement, and are manually reviewed through the mapping results. It is concluded that the method described in this paper can be used to monitor the distribution of algal and sand effectively.
