Main Problems and Suggestions for Improvement in Wetland Investigation
Starting with the definition and characteristics of wetlands,based on the relevant experiences and lessons accumulated in several special investigations of wetlands and the third national land survey,this paper analyzes and finds out several main problems existing in wetland investigation,and puts forward the general idea of abandoning wetlands as conventional land types and fully embod-ying the unique attributes of wetlands. By introducing the concept of wetland scope,comprehensively determining wetland scope by multi-period investigation data,and strengthening comprehensive investigation capacity building,it tries to solve the bottleneck prob-lems in wetland investigation and promote wetland investigation and monitoring under the framework of unified investigation and moni-toring of natural resources.
