By studying the characteristics,security threats and protective measures of LAN,this paper aims to analyze the data security of LAN and provide reference for ensuring the security of LAN data. This paper introduces the concept and application of LAN,dis-cusses the importance of data security,and analyzes the common security threats,such as hacker attack,virus and malicious software. At the same time,a series of protective measures,such as strengthening user education and strengthening network security manage-ment,are put forward to ensure the confidentiality,integrity and availability of LAN data.
