Based on the benefits provided by realistic 3D models,including environmental interaction and high data accuracy,this pa-per explores the technical process of creating the 3D model for the entrance of a traffic tunnel,considering the specific characteristics of hazardous events. It aims to discuss the key techniques involved in constructing the 3D model for the tunnel entrance. Furthermore,it analyzes the proactive role played by the 3D model in a danger warning system.
