Analysis of Serious Gas Leakage Fault of 110 kV GIS TA Terminal
It introduces a serious gas leakage failure of 110 kV gas-insulated switchgear(GIS)TA terminal in a 220 kV substation.On-site SF6 leak detector detection and return air opening inspection are carried out on the faulty gas chamber. The results show that because the wiring in a TA in the gas chamber is squeezed between the TA terminal and the circuit breaker bottom plate, the uneven force of the base after fastening is partially squeezed, and the penetrating cracking occurs under the action of long-term on-site vibra-tion and high pressure, resulting in serious gas leakage fault. It analyzes the cause of the accident that the manufacturer·s assembling process is poor, and the cable tie is not fastened at the root of the terminal.Combined with the causes of SF6 leakage failure, the pre-ventive measures are put forward to improve safe and reliable equipment operating level.
