In this paper,the probability density function (PDF) method is used to analyze the ambient noise of Liaoning early warning base station. The SN-CAST method is used to evaluate the monitoring capa-bility of the early warning station network based on the noise calculation results. And the spatial distribution of the monitoring magnitude with the Liaoning"15th"seismic network and the early warning engineering construction station network is calculated. The results show that the construction of Liaoning early warning station has significantly enhanced the monitoring capacity of the network,and 95% of the regional seismic monitoring capacity in the province has been improved from ML2.0 to ML1.5. The monitoring capacity in the key early warning area reaches ML1.0,and the monitoring capacity is more uniform than the spatial distribu-tion of the"15th"seismic network. For areas with relatively weak monitoring capabilities,the monitoring capabilities of the region will be improved by building new high-data-quality stations and increasing the density of stations in the region.
