Stability Analysis of Soil-rock Binary Composite Slope of Expressway and Its Protective Measures
This paper takes Qizili Interchange Project of G56 Hangrui Expressway as an example, through the development of detailed engineering geological investigation work in the interchange area, establish a full understanding of the geological background of the slope in the interchange area.Using GEO5 software slope stability calculation and stereographic projection, systematic analysis of slope stability. Results showed the excavation slope that is in a basically stable state under normal working conditions, and it is in an unstable state under abnormal conditions. The slope is a soil-rock binary composite slope. Its stability is mainly con-trolled by multiple factors such as stratum lithology, slope height, overburden, weathering layer thickness, structural plane combination occurrence, strength, excavation slope rate, surface water and groundwater.Steep slope or free face is produced after slope excavation, the possible failure modes are sliding along the soil-rock interface, circular sliding, and sliding along the weathering interface, and local collapse of slope surface and wedge collapse.
