Correctly setting the closure law and start-up law of the servomotor of the hydraulic turbine is an important measure to ensure the safety of hydro power stations. It is a common phenomenon in practical engineering that the closing law of the relay deviates from the setting. To analyze the reasons, this paper analyze the principle of the hydraulic amplification system of the water turbine governor and establishes a precise mathematical model of the hydraulic amplification system of the hydro turbine governor.Based on the established model and actual power plant parameters, the main factors affecting the speed characteristics of the servomotor were simulated and analyzed. The results indicate that the force of water on the guide vanes and the internal leakage of the servomotor have a significant impact on the open time and close time of the servomotor. When setting the closure law of the servomotor, the influence of water force acting on the guide vanes should be considered.
