With the rapid development of the construction and technology of Pumped-storage hydroelectricity,the head and speed of the unit are continuously improved,and the requirements for the material selection of the rotating parts of the generator motor are also increasingly strict.As the core component of a generator motor,the rotor yoke is an important component of the generator magnetic circuit,and also bears the centrifugal force and magnetic pole tension generated by the high-speed rotation of the unit.The material selection is crucial.Through systematic research and practice,it has been proven that forging magnetic yoke materials have obvious advantages in mechanical performance,welding performance,stress verification,ventilation effect,magnetic conductivity,manufacturing process,on-site installation,etc.They can replace traditional magnetic yoke materials and have been successfully applied to large pumped storage units,meeting the long-term safety and stable operation requirements of the units.Moreover,the integrity and rigidity of forging magnetic yoke materials are better than traditional laminated magnetic yokes and annular thick steel plate magnetic yokes.This article focuses on summarizing and analyzing the selection and application of magnetic yoke materials for ring forgings,providing technical support for in-depth research and practical application of magnetic yoke materials for pumped storage electric motors.
