Study on Simulation and Protection Configuration and Setting of Remeng RAM Generator
Daya bay nuclear power plant rotating asynchronous machine(RAM)consists of two electric generators with flywheels.It uses Remeng generator(imported model/brushed phase compound excitation),since its protection device is not microcomputer type and lacks fault recording device,it is difficult to judge whether there is a common risk of reactor shutdown due to the mismatch of loss of field and overcurrent protection in other nuclear power plants.The article firstly establishes the PSCAD model of the RAM system of Remeng Generator,and proves its correctness through the results of prototype experiment and the simulation analysis of the short-circuit fault at the machine terminal;then through the changes of the current at the machine terminal of the non-faulty machine after the occurrence of different types of loss-of-field faults under different load,the article makes a proposal for the configuration and setting of overcurrent protection of Remeng RAM generators,so as to avoid the failure of redundant design of RAM system.Finally,the configuration and setting of the overcurrent protection of the breaker of the RAM system of Remeng generator are further optimized.The relevant work lays a foundation for the localization and transformation of the RAM generator protection device of Remeng generator.
