Influence of AC Side Grounding of Excitation System on Rotor Grounding Protection
The AC side grounding of excitation system will cause the misoperation of injection rotor grounding protection and ping-pong switching rotor grounding protection.This paper introduces a relevant case,deeply analyzes and quantitatively calculates the basic principle of misoperation,summarizes the typical characteristics of sampling data changes caused by AC side grounding of excitation system,and puts forward some thoughts on reducing the positioning range of rotor grounding protection.When the rotor one point grounding protection acts,first make a preliminary judgment on whether the fault point is located at the AC side or DC side of the excitation system according to the change of sampling data,so as to narrow the fault location range and provide decision-making basis for rapid fault finding.
